This postcard features a detailed lithograph of Charles the Templier, a French king. The image is a historical portrait, with text in French describing his military campaigns and titles, including his role as Duke of Charolais and his involvement in the French Wars of Religion. The text references his coronation in 1582 and his role in the Battle of Périgueux in 1587. The postcard is printed on aged paper with a classic French postcard format, including the 'Carte Postale' script on the back and a small emblem. The back also includes a line for the address and a stamp area, indicating it was designed for postal use. The image is a historical representation, not a photograph, and is printed in a style typical of the 19th century.
