Spellcraft Stories Complete Set 18 Marvel Cards 2023 Fleer Ultra Midnight Sons

These cards are in near-mint condition or better. Equivalent to cards fresh from the pack. Learn more about eBay's card condition guidelines here: https://pages.ebay.com/cardconditions/

The Spellcraft Stories set is basically an illustrated tour through some of Marvel’s wildest supernatural arcs. Each card pulls a full comic-panel scene from classic storylines that shaped the darker corners of the Marvel Universe. Instead of isolated character art, these cards tell moments—brawls, standoffs, demonic invasions, team-ups, betrayals, and last-stand fights—capturing that 80s/90s/2000s supernatural Marvel chaos in all its glory.

Because each card comes from a major storyline—Rise of the Midnight Sons, Siege of Darkness, Damnation, Inferno, Fear Itself, House of M, X-Men: Curse of the Mutants, and more—the set feels like a curated highlight reel of everything that makes Marvel’s occult side so fun. You get Ghost Rider, Blade, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Magik, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, and entire supernatural squads all colliding across the 18 scenes.

The layouts are horizontal, giving each card a cinematic widescreen feel. It really works: the action reads like a page ripped straight from the comic. Flames, spells, portals, claws, transformation effects—every card is bursting with motion. When you lay all 18 cards side-by-side, it looks almost like a storyboard for a Midnight Sons animated series.

What ties the set together is its energy. Each panel is loud, dramatic, and drenched in supernatural atmosphere—spellcircles glowing, demons screaming, Ghost Rider blazing, Magik teleporting, Wolverine cutting through monsters, Strange casting, and entire teams throwing down in apocalyptic settings. It’s the most “comic book” insert in the product, in the best possible way.

For collectors who love the darker arcs, team crossovers, and magic-heavy Marvel runs, this complete set is an absolute blast. It feels like a celebration of Marvel’s occult history—fast-paced, fiery, and filled with iconic moments. Here's the complete checklist:

Return Policy

I offer free returns but please message me first instead of opening a case with eBay.
