The Spider-Man Decathlon set is one of those inserts that just nails the fun side of Spider-Man. It’s basically a trivia-style tour through classic Spidey history, wrapped in bright, retro comic artwork. Each card asks a question tied to a key moment, character, or storyline, then shows a panel or snippet from the original comics. When you lay all 25 cards out, it feels like a mini Spider-Man museum—colorful, nostalgic, and full of those deep-cut references longtime fans love.

What makes the set great is how varied the topics are. You get everything from Spidey’s first villain battles to MJ’s first iconic “Face it, tiger…” moment, to the creation of the Scorpion, to the Hobgoblin framing storyline, all the way up to quirky bits like Spider-Slayers, unmaskings, clones, and weird team-ups. Each card captures its moment with that bright Silver Age/ Bronze Age aesthetic—thick outlines, bold colors, and the kind of expressive panels that made early Spider-Man so memorable.

Because every card works like a little history nugget, the full set ends up being surprisingly satisfying to flip through. It’s not just “pictures of Spider-Man,” it’s more like a greatest hits reel of the things that make the character so enduring: the villains, the humor, the drama, the bad luck, and all the twists that shaped him.

Visually, the uniform design helps the set pop in a binder page. The blue border, the Decathlon badge, the trivia question—it all ties together so well that even non-Spidey collectors tend to stop and look at it. It’s just a fun, vibrant insert set that celebrates the character’s legacy without taking itself too seriously.

If you’re building out Homecoming inserts or just want a compact but meaningful Spider-Man history piece, the Decathlon set is a perfect little time capsule. Here's the complete checklist:
