Team Affiliations Complete Set 10 Marvel Cards 2023 Fleer Ultra Wolverine Insert

This Team Affiliations set is basically a nostalgia hit and a Wolverine appreciation tour rolled into one. Every card is built around a team that Logan has been part of (or tangled with) over the years, and the artwork leans hard into those classic comic-book eras. It feels like flipping through a stack of ’90s and early-2000s covers—but distilled into premium inserts.

The coolest part is how different each card feels. You’ve got the X-Men piece with that bold, colorful, chaotic energy from peak Claremont/Lee vibes. Then the New Fantastic Four card throws you into that weird, short-lived team-up with Wolverine, Spidey, Hulk, and Ghost Rider—one of those lineups that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.

The Avengers Unity Squad and New Avengers cards have that clean, modern superhero-team aesthetic, while Alpha Flight taps into pure Canadian Marvel history. Then you get into the darker and grittier stuff: Savage Avengers, X-Force, and Team X, all heavy on black ops, claws, leather, and attitude. They really nailed the mood shifts between teams—each one looks like its own comic run.

And the last two—The Wolverines and Secret Defenders—round things out by leaning into the weirder, more chaotic corners of the Wolverine timeline. The Wolverines card especially looks straight out of a sharp, stylized variant cover.

As a full 10-card set, it looks amazing laid out. There's a ton of variety, but everything is tied together by the "Affiliations" theme and those dark borders. It’s one of those inserts that Marvel collectors will get a kick out of—not just because the art is great, but because it quietly maps all the weird, wild team phases Wolverine has gone through over the decades.
